30 Day Return Policy

These include bad valves, defective mechanical parts of the hose and gun assembly and missing components from kits. We do have excellent quality control measures in place and manufacturing defects are a small percentage of 1% of volume, but if you make a million of anything, 1 or 2 are going to slip by our QC people. We try for that not to be the case, but we can’t find any out of work robots to hire. We hope you understand and if you do happen to be one of the less than a dozen a year customers who gets a defective kit, we will cheerfully refund your purchase, including shipping, or ship you another at no charge with our profound apology. We are a fair and honest company with a well-engineered product line. But you really do need to follow the 5 RULES for OPERATING these foam kits so you get the most out of them.

5 Rules of Operating Tiger Foam Kits

Simply put, user error is not refundable. These errors happen when you do not follow the instructions. Here are 5 rules of operating the Tiger Foam Kits.

  1. The tank temperature is within stated operating range (75-85 degrees F)
  2. The tanks are agitated before use to improve dispersal of the propellant
  3. Nozzle tips are changed when needed
  4. Both valves are completely turned on
  5. The surface you are spraying is not oily
Nor can we guarantee suitability for applications or code specification compliance. People do get creative with this foam, and we encourage it, but we can't necessarily guarantee that if you make a 40 foot bird out of this foam that it will fly with a 5 horsepower motor attached. We hope you understand our position.

Each user error has documented cause and effect and we have taken every measure to make these kits easy to use. We include extra tips, for instance.

1. Be sure the tank temperature is within stated operating range (75-85 degrees F)

Specifically, spraying when the tank temperature is below 60-70 degrees (depending on humidity) will result in a brown, runny liquid that simply doesn’t foam up. You need to put on a heat wrap source for a few hours before you spray to bring the chemicals up to recommended operating temperature. Not a refundable instance if you don't.

2. Agitating Tanks

Not agitating the tanks. You get good foam, but coverage just wasn’t good and there’s still chemical in the tanks, but no pressure. Again, not refundable. You didn’t follow directions.

3. Changing Nozzle Tips Often

Not changing tips when they start to clog up or after not spraying chemical through them for more then 30 seconds or so. Spraying through a clogged tip will cause foam to back up into the little jets in the gun and though the kit may spray foam, the foam will be flat and won’t rise as much, or may be off colored and not cure completely, depending on which jet gets debris in it.

Again, we have tried to make it easier to identify a kit that is spraying off ratio due to a clogged jet by providing you with clear hoses. If you see gaps of air instead of chemical coming through one hose or the other or both, you have a clogged tip. This means one tank is spraying more chemical than the other and the ratio is off. This doesn’t necessarily mean the kit is ruined. If you catch it in time and either notice the foam isn’t quite right looking when you spray it or notice air pockets in the hose as you are spraying, then you can simply use another gun and hose assembly from another kit and when done with that kit, simply and immediately attach it to the other kit. Make sure you replace the nozzle tip before spraying the new kit.

4. Turn Both Valves On

Not having one valve turned on all the way gives results similar to spraying through a clogged tip. The ratio will obviously be off if both valves aren’t wide open.

5. Avoid Spraying on Oily Surfaces

Spraying on oily surfaces, such as wood previously used as concrete forms that have a release agent sprayed on them. This will cause the foam to separate from the wood at the edges. (When in doubt, power wash it!)

Pay attention to these few (5) things and these kits work like a well engineered system, which they are.
